Pulling up to his office building, she knew that he was there. She wondered what his new secretary looked like and if she had taken her place in every way possible. Veronica could barely stand the fact that Mike slept in the same bed with his wife. If she found out that he was bagging his new secretary, he would have hell to pay. Veronica just had to see for herself who Mike and his uppity sister had traded her in for. Walking as swiftly as she could, she made it to the desk before the new receptionist could turn around.

“Oh, my, I didn’t hear you come in. What may I help you with, ma’am?”

“There is nothing that you can help me with, where is Mike?”

“Mr. Simmons is busy at this time. If you want to make an appointment I will gladly do that for you.”

“I don’t want to make an appointment, I want to see him now. He owes me that, get him out here now!”

Picking up the phone, Michelle buzzed Mike to let him know that it was a disgruntled young lady in the receptionist area to see him. Breaking it down to her, he advised Michelle to call security on Veronica and have her escorted out of the building. Taking a deep breath, Michelle dialed security and let them know that they needed to get to the top floor ASAP.

“Now, ma’am, Mr. Simmons advised me that you are not allowed in this building and security is on the way to escort you out. If I were you, I would leave before they get here to save yourself further embarrassment.”

“Bitch, did I ask you what your ratchet ass would do? I am going to see Mike one way or the other, so I would advise you to get out of my way.”

Veronica marched to the conference room where Mike’s meeting was being held and threw the door open. Scanning the room, she saw that everyone was looking at her like she was a fool with two heads. Marching up to Mike, Veronica hauled off and slapped the taste out of his mouth before she started going off on him.

“This is how you treat me after I dedicated the last year of my life to you? I was your lover, secretary, confidant, and your go to woman. So, now you are going to throw me out in the fucking streets? This is how you truly feel, Mike?”

Jumping up from the table, Mike charged at Veronica embarrassed by what she was saying in front of his partners and peers. If they didn't already think he was sleeping with the help, they damn surely knew it now. He didn't need Veronica and her ghetto ass coming between him, his company, and his money. Before he even reached her, Samantha stepped in and assisted him.

“Sit down, Mike, I will handle this little situation for you, that’s my job. Go ahead and continue your meeting and I will get rid of the trash for you.
